Abstract
Contains a critical and editorial introduction to Dubliners Bookshelf, a digital archive of books James Joyce explicitly writes about in Dubliners. Includes information about James Joyce and the publishing of Dubliners, the print culture of Joyce’s Dublin, the publisher Grant Richards, notes on the texts of Dubliners Bookshelf, and the project’s editorial rationale. Also includes a list of books that appear in Dubliners. Each title is accompanied by a short critical essay that places the book within the context of Joyce’s life and works, and in the print culture of the time.
